Following his retirement from the Army Reserve after 25 years of service as a JAG Officer, David Band was appointed by Governor Foster as a member of the Governor's Veterans Affairs Commission. During his tenure as a Commissioner, he represented AMVETS, traveled around the State and implemented State Policy of protecting the rights of Veterans in the State of Louisiana. Perhaps you have an interest in an old Rolls Royce or Porsche. Rather than purchase expensive brand new automobiles every few years, David Band would rather hang on to an old classic and keep fixing it up.
