Web Publishing and Site Design

David Band developed and designed this web site personally.  He was  the Command Public Affairs Officer for a  two star general in the Army Reserve after performing Judge Advocate General duties, is an experienced photographer from years of experience preparing cases for trial (photographs sell a claim to a jury and depict the damages in ways language descriptions never could).  And he is proficient with  several web publishing programs to get web pages up on the Internet..  The design of a web site devoted to photographs is a very personal thing, and requires skill and artistic judgment in many areas.  People in organizations love to see their picture on the internet so that including lots of photographs in a web site draws lots of visitors to the site.

The photo pages which follow are but a bit of David Band's work, but he sees nothing wrong with putting up a little personal stuff for the fun of it and to pique viewer's interest in this  site, and so you can see the world through the eyes of  David Band.  Check out some of these web pages which have Thumbnail photos that can be enlarged full screen to reveal very nice details about the things that are interesting and important in David Band's life.

Webshots.com has a very ingenious automatic  system for uploading your photos, using photos automatically as wallpaper, screensavers and viewing in slide shows, and inviting friends to see thumbnails.  Here are 12 "Albums" with about 60 photos each.
